Since waste recycling becomes an irresistible trend on construction market, a number of powerful research & design teams and construction units have carried out waste resource studies at different levels, and have achieved fruitful results, according to the analysis of global resource information.
Germany was the first country to implement environmental labeling system in the world. Currently, recycled construction waste in Germany is mainly used in highway pavement. Germany is expected to employ 80% of the waste for concrete projects. France has applied crushed brick and concrete for brick concrete block production. Britain has developed washing machine specifically for the recovery of wet mortar and concrete.
Besides, CSTC has long been concerned about the consistency of construction waste recycling.
In recent years, China also has paid much attention to the rational use of resources, put forward energy conservation policies, and carried out a large number of studies, such as zero waste of traditional wall materials, practical applications of waste masonry materials in construction, etc.
Construction waste brick and block to replace traditional clay bricks as masonry materials, which clean ups the environment, saves energy, and protects the land resources, is a product of economic and social benefits, so that becoming a driving force for the sustainable development of construction industry.
The era of green building has arrived. On May 9-11, 2015, China Int’l Block and Brick Exhibition 2015 (BBE2015) will showcase the world leading sandstone and brick making technology and equipment of green building industry.
